Care That Starts with Listening

Living Care exists because too many NDIS participants don't feel heard by their provider.

We're the NDIS division of Royale Gateways Pty Ltd — a Western Sydney provider built on a simple belief: great support starts with understanding the person, not just the plan.

Led by a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience, we deliver personal care, community nursing, and daily living services with clinical oversight and genuine warmth.

FAQ

Common Questions About NDIS Support

Answers to the questions we hear most from participants, families, and support coordinators.

What is the NDIS and am I eligible?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government program that funds support services for people with a permanent and significant disability. To be eligible, you generally need to be under 65 when you first apply, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have a disability that affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.

You can check your eligibility and apply through the NDIS website or call the NDIA on 1800 800 110.

What services does Living Care provide?

Living Care is registered across five NDIS support categories: Assist Personal Activities (0104), Community Nursing Care (0114), Innovative Community Participation (0116), Household Tasks (0120), and Participate Community (0125).

In practice, this covers personal care such as showering, dressing, and meal preparation; clinical nursing including medication management and wound care; community access and social participation; and household support like cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.

How do I switch to Living Care from another NDIS provider?

Switching providers is your right as an NDIS participant, and you can do it at any time. Your funding stays with you — not your provider. Start by checking your current service agreement for any notice period (usually 7 to 30 days), then let your current provider know in writing.

From there, simply get in touch with us and we'll handle the rest. We'll meet with you, understand your needs, and coordinate the transition so there's no gap in your services. If you have a support coordinator or plan manager, we'll work with them too.

What's the difference between self-managed, plan-managed, and agency-managed?

Agency-managed means the NDIA pays your providers directly from your plan. Plan-managed means a third-party plan manager handles payments and invoicing on your behalf, giving you more provider choice. Self-managed means you manage the funding yourself and pay providers directly.

Living Care works with all three management types. We handle invoicing and documentation regardless of how your plan is managed.

What areas does Living Care service?

We provide NDIS support services across Western Sydney and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, give us a call on 0451 633 392 and we'll let you know.

Do I need an NDIS plan to use Living Care?

Our core services are delivered under the NDIS, so you'll need an active NDIS plan with funding in the relevant support categories. However, we also offer private services for individuals who aren't NDIS participants. Contact us to discuss your situation.

Can Living Care help with complex or high-care needs?

Yes. Living Care is led by a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in community health. We provide clinical nursing support (registration group 0114) including medication management, wound care, PEG feeding, catheter care, and post-hospital transition support — all with nursing oversight.

If you or your loved one has complex care needs, we're happy to discuss how we can help. Support coordinators are welcome to call us directly.

How do I get started with Living Care?
